Europe's Leading Android Personal Finance Apps in Q4 2020

As we wrap up the analysis of the fourth quarter of 2020, Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of the top personal finance applications on the Android platform in Europe. Here's what the data reveals about the top five budgeting and planning apps.

Paylib, le paiement mobile showed an increased trend in downloads starting from around 15K in late September to a peak of nearly 27K in early December, with weekly active users following a similar upward trend from approximately 23K to 35K in the same period.

1Money: expense tracker budget demonstrated fluctuating download numbers, kicking off with over 25K at the end of September and spiking to around 22K by the end of December. Revenue displayed a generally declining trend, starting at nearly $8K and closing the quarter at around $9K. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 227K to 218K.

For Money manager & expenses, there was no reported revenue, but downloads showed a significant rise from 6K to over 23K, and weekly active users increased from around 13K to a notable 67K by the end of December.

Tricount - Split group bills observed a revenue increase from $755 to $934 and a remarkable download growth from 16K to over 30K. The app's weekly active users also rose from 118K at the start of the quarter to over 131K by the end.

Lastly, Money Manager Expense & Budget saw its revenue fluctuate, ending the quarter slightly higher at around $2.4K. Downloads experienced a dip and then a rise, starting at approximately 15K and ending at about 14K. Weekly active users showed a modest increase from 144K to 147K.
